Club Europe Concert Tours
Leaders in our field, Club Europe Concert Tours has been creating wonderful school music tours to Europe and beyond for all kinds of ensembles since 1980. A small family-run company, we have many very loyal customers and pride ourselves on the very personal service we provide. Many of our ensembles have toured with us for years.
All our concert team are practicing amateur or semi-professional musicians themselves, so they can offer expert, first-hand advice and support to music leaders. Advising on everything from choice of destination, performing venues and repertoires to the finer details of the excursion programme our young musicians enjoy when not performing, their support is one of the reasons so many teachers return to us for all their music tours.
Our team of bi-lingual operations staff have excellent local knowledge and a wide network of partners in Europe and beyond from hoteliers and youth travel agencies to venue administrators and educational visitor centres and cultural organisations. Native speakers of Italian, French, German and Spanish, their local knowledge ensures we find our groups the best accommodation centres, the best musical venues and draw up the best excursion programmes possible. They are often responsible for what we call the ‘Club Europe’ touch, that extra ingredient that really makes a tour; this could be anything from a little-known local market to a small music festival our ensembles can play in to an opportunity to take part in a mass in one of Europe’s most famous churches.
Our bi-lingual tour managers are carefully selected; both for their musical and local knowledge. They are the glue that keep our tours running smoothly, often ironing out any potential problems, helping with everything from introducing our ensembles at their concerts to liaising with the hotel about specific rooming requirements. Finally our publicity team ensures all our groups’ concerts are well-publicised in local papers, websites and with posters in and around the venue centre. Performing to new audiences in a new and exciting setting is a key element of our youth music tours and it’s very important our groups perform to large, appreciate audiences.
We have a 24-hour helpline for party leaders, so we are always available to offer advice and support throughout their time away.
